Born in Denver, Colorado circa April, 1982, Travis'
family traded in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains for a view of
the Muddy Mississippi. Growing up in Brighton, IL, he learned to
play baseball early on and it became the overriding hobby of his
childhood. When he reached high school, he put down the bat and
glove and picked up a stick and skates, joining the high school
ice hockey team. However, after a year of hockey, he moved and was
forced to pick up the bat and glove once again, being named baseball
team captain in his senior year of high school.
After high school, he wandered aimlessly into Lewis & Clark Community
College, where he majored in radio broadcasting. In 2002, he was
a nominee for "Best Student On-Air Talent in St. Louis." After 3
1/2 years, he left the program and focused on a new career: filmmaking.
Inspired by the stories behind Lord of the Rings, Clerks,
and John Carpenter's Halloween, he set off to start his own
production company and make his own films. After a year and a half
of self-teaching, he put together a team and competed in the 48
Hour Film Project, where he made his first short film, The
Botched Job.
In 2007, he started The Convo with Trezmai,
whom he had met through MySpace.
The show floundered, then started to flourish with interviews of
Kendra, Azmyth, Christa and Louie from CBS' Pirate Master.
Eventually, Sledge was added to the list of hosts and the show became
what it is today: just another show about whatever.

Born in Denver, Colorado circa February, 1972, Sledge's
family moved quite a bit during his toddler years before settling
in Green River, WY. His upbringing was fairly typical and his parents
divorced when Sledge was just seven. His mother remarried and relocated
Sledge and his younger sister to Chugwater, WY, a small town of
only 200 people. Growing up, Sledge participated in basketball and
4-H. Three days before his Junior year of High School, Sledge's
family relocated him to Lusk, WY, a town of approximately 1500 people,
where he graduated High School.
Upon completion of High School, Sledge attended Eastern Wyoming
College in Torrington, WY, where he obtained his AA Degree. From
there, Sledge moved to Laramie, WY to attend the University of Wyoming.
There he married his first wife and had two young children by the
time he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science
& Math. Sledge then relocated his family to Haxtun, CO where he
and his family made their home while Sledge worked in Fleming, CO
for Frenchman School District as their Technology Coordinator.
More to come....
